First Quarter Financial Plan: Become a Pro at Financial Management
It is safe to say most of us are not financial geniuses. While some may have studied finance in college or have a job dealing with finances of some kind, statistics say the majority of us know only the basics of our finances. However, there is a way for customers of Lincoln Savings Bank to become expert financial managers, and it doesn’t require any extra schooling.
The Budget Plus personal financial management (PFM) tool, available for free within our online banking, puts you in complete control of your finances. Login to your online banking account, and be prepared to be financially empowered with these features of Budget Plus:
View all your accounts in one place- Link your checking and savings accounts, as well as your mortgages, investments, retirement account, credit cards, reward programs and more to have all your information in one place.
Track your spending- see where you are spending your money in real time in a pie chart that tracks up to 12 categories of spending.
Create a budget- Budget Plus tracks your spending by category to help you set a budget. You can also compare month-to-month and year-to-year.
Set savings goals- need a vacation or a new car? Budget Plus helps you create savings goals that you can adjust with your cash flow over time.
Some additional features of Budget Plus include bill reminders, miles and points reward summaries, a net worth tracker and asset allocation.
We recently updated Budget Plus to make the user experience even better:
An improved look and responsive design for a better tablet experience
A faster, simpler way to add accounts
FinApps- additional functionality, such as mortgage calculators and spending comparisons, to help users learn, analyze and make better financial decisions.
Budget Plus is just another way Lincoln Savings Bank empowers our customers to take control of their finances. To learn more about this great tool and see an overview video describing the many great features of LSB’s Budget Plus PFM, visit www.mylsb.com/BudgetPlus.
