It's All Fun and Games!

Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) locations were closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day, but that doesn’t mean the LSB staff had a day of leisure. The staff spent the day at LSB University, a day of enrichment and curriculum specifically designed for Lincoln Savings Bank employees.
Even though LSB University is a day of training, the LSB staff did have a lot of fun and games; or rather they brought a lot of fun and games! Employees were invited to exhibit “passionate community stewardship” (a Core Value) and bring a donation for Toys for Tots. LSB employees definitely rose to the challenge - there were so many toys, they didn't all fit on the donation table!
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has been delivering new toys at Christmas to less fortunate youngsters since 1991. Each October, November and December, Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys and then distributes the toys at Christmas in the community where the toys were collected. The goal is to provide a message of hope that will assist the kids in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. For more information or to make a donation to Toys for Tots, visit toysfortots.org.
