Ben Milne Joins Lincoln Savings Bank Board of Directors
Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) has shown a history of influential leadership since its founding over 115 years ago which has only grown stronger over time. In December of 2020, LSB welcomed Ben Milne to its Board of Directors.
As a member of the LSB Board of Directors, Milne’s primary duty will be to look after the interests of LSB’s customers, communities, and employees. He will be challenged to consider what is best for their customers, communities and employees.
Based out of Des Moines, Milne is the Founder and Chairman of the programmable payment platform, Dwolla, Inc. Having been recognized by MIT, Goldman Sachs, Forbes, and Inc., Milne holds various patents for payment processing technologies.
Milne has also participated in the development of technology solutions with government organizations and non-profit. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in payment processing technologies and a passion for community banks, Milne is very excited about LSB’s growth and future, especially the growth of LSBX, a department dedicated to making payment technology accessible to fintech innovators.
Milne’s history in e-commerce and technology makes him a perfect fit for the innovative style of LSB. “Ben brings to LSB expertise in technology, payments, and building entrepreneurial businesses,” said LSB President & CEO, Erik Skovgard.
