Dana Uhlenhopp promoted to Chief Banking Officer at Lincoln Savings Bank

posted Leslie Earp 2/10/2020 in Press Releases

Dana Uhlenhopp has been promoted to Chief Banking Officer at Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB). Uhlenhopp attended Wartburg College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics in 1982. He has also been a member of the Iowa Bankers Association Ag Committee and IBA Leadership, as well as completing a two-year Agricultural Credit School with the American Bankers Association, Dale Carnegie Course, and numerous other IBA classes throughout his career.

Uhlenhopp, who has been with LSB for 33 years, was introduced to banking during his senior year at Wartburg and felt the industry was a good fit for him. Most of his experience has been in lending and is excited about working with other departments to implement and achieve strategic goals. As the Chief Banking Officer, he will manage sales and customer service functions for the retail branches, lending, financial services, mortgage lending, and marketing departments. He will also continue to serve on LSB’s Executive Management Team. “My number one focus is to work with each department and make things more transparent between all,” said Uhlenhopp. “We have some great tools in place that we look to expand on in 2020.”

Community involvement is important to Uhlenhopp as he has been a long-time member of the Allison Lions Club and Commercial Club, and currently serves as the Chair of Stewardship and Finance Committee for St. James Lutheran Church. Uhlenhopp has spent most of his life in Allison, IA, where he lives with his wife Deb. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, including four grandchildren (soon to be five), outdoor activities and hunting/fishing at his property in Southern Iowa.
