Erin Lyons new Trust Officer at Lincoln Savings Bank

Waterloo, Iowa –

Erin Lyons has joined Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) as a Trust Officer in the Waterloo- Tower Park location. Erin received a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Iowa in 1999, followed by one year at the University of Northern Iowa to pursue teaching.  He soon discovered he would like to explore law and earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa in 2004 and passed the Iowa Bar Exam in 2005.

Though he is new to banking, he has over thirteen years’ experience as a trial lawyer where he had the opportunity to make a career by helping others.  Transitioning to LSB as a Trust Officer will allow him to continue helping others in a collaborative manner, rather than adversarial. 

As a Trust Officer, Lyons will fulfill the bank’s role administering clients’ trusts, being executors of estates of the deceased, and serving as an agent for those who struggle to manage their own financial needs.  “Collaborating with the banks customers toward the common goal of improving their individual lives has been re-invigorating form me professionally,” says Erin. He is bringing with him the desire and ability to work hard in the service of the bank’s customers.

Erin is passionate about his community and currently volunteers his time with the St. Patrick Catholic School finance committee, Junior Achievement, and will soon be a part of the Black Hawk County Bar Association executive committee.  He resides in Cedar Falls with his wife and two daughters.
