Waterloo, Iowa –

With nearly 30 years of banking experience, Lil Vukmirovic joins Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) as the Chief Operations Officer. Vukmirovic began her banking career as a Customer Service Representative while she attended the Academy of Art University.   Fourteen years later, she continued her education at the Vanderbilt University Graduate School of Banking-Operations/Technology in Nashville.

The first 10 years of Vukmirovic’s career was in the Retail department, focusing mostly on sales, then transferred over to Operations.  She spent 18 years as a BSA Officer/Operations/Risk building operational efficiencies, risk infrastructures, performing full conversions, building cultures, teams, processes, products and services for organizations.  Through her previous experience, she is excited to enhance LSB’s current departments, policies and procedures, as well as LSBX and bank offerings.

Vukmirovic was drawn to LSB because of the vision Erik Skovgard, LSB CEO & President, has for the organization, as well as community involvement.  She is passionate about supporting her community and has spent time serving on the Board of Associations, assisted seniors within her community, served as the treasurer for her local parish, and mentors high school and college students.

Raised in Chicago, Vukmirovic is a daughter to Serbian immigrant parents and the first in her family to be born in the United States. With Serbian as her first language, she learned English at the age of 5. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, traveling and renovating homes.
