Lincoln Savings Bank Opens Loan Production Office in Johnston, IA

posted Katie Hansen 11/16/2020 in Press Releases

Des Moines, IA – On Monday, November 16, 2020, Lincoln Savings Bank [LSB] opened its new Loan Production Office, located at 8705 Chambery Blvd, Johnston, Iowa 50131.

The new office will house one mortgage lender, allowing the financial institution to continue growing its footprint throughout the greater Des Moines, IA community. According to Jordan Schick, Head of Mortgage at LSB, this new location will further support Iowan home buyers, guiding them through the financing process, while getting to know LSB’s iconic service.

“As a hometown community bank, Lincoln Savings Bank’s mortgage department is rooted in personalized customer service,” commented Schick. “We pride ourselves on a customer experience that creates a quick, simple and transparent mortgage process that accommodates each client’s situation, needs, and financial goals.”

Lincoln Savings Bank has additional mortgage offices housed in its Adel, Ankeny, Cedar Falls, Clive, Des Moines, Reinbeck, and Waterloo branches. LSB’s rural branches in Allison, Aplington, Garwin, Greene, Grinnell, Hudson, Lincoln, Nashua, and Tama also facilitate mortgages for local homebuyers.

As an institution, Lincoln Savings Bank takes great pride in its standards of excellence. For its customers, this ensures a timely process and local decisions as they move through their home buying journey. One of the most impactful benefits of partnering with LSB is its dedicated team of internal mortgage underwriting and processing.

“As a community bank, LSB has a key advantage, in that we offer a competitive, flexible portfolio product,” shared Gretchen Meints, LSB Mortgage Underwriting Manager. “Our internal portfolio product has allowed us to help our community in achieving the dream of homeownership, by applying commonsense underwriting to some unique situations that may not fit the secondary market box.”

These advantages are visible not only through the underwriting and processing portion of the home buying journey but are integrated into the day-to-day interactions of LSB’s mortgage lenders as well.

“By partnering with a community bank, borrowers feel comfortable knowing that loan decisions are made locally, and not in another state,” elaborated Dominic Black, LSB Mortgage Sales Manager. “Not only that, but also the ease of walking into a branch and talking to lenders face-to-face creates a stronger relationship for our borrowers.” [Dominic Black, NMLS #101586]
