Lincoln Savings Bank Foundation Contributions

The LSB Foundation is not a large, endowed foundation.  However, the power of its impact on the communities we serve can hardly be denied.   From its inception in 2005 through the end of the fiscal year in 2014, we have contributed a total of $2,314,187.00 to various organizations, individuals and community endeavors. In 2015, an additional $86,048 was contributed, bringing the total to over $2.4 million.

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. In 2009, the Foundation received the “National Community Bank Service Award” as presented by the ICBA.  In 2012 the Foundation was once again recognized by the Association of Funding Professionals when we received the “Gift of the Heart Philanthropy Award”.  While the Foundation enjoys being recognized, we do what we do to exemplify our core value of being good stewards on behalf of the communities we serve.

When we share our treasure, time and talents, we help those who are in need. We also provide for the ongoing operations of the communities we serve and the organizations which enhance the quality of life in those communities.

I believe giving and sharing is what we are commanded to do. At this time of the year, we should be thankful that we have the opportunity and the resources to give to others.

$2.4 million and counting… Something to be thankful for.
