John Teeple, Chief Operating Officer of Bonsai Robotics
John Teeple joined Lincoln Bancorp’s Board of Directors in 2026. John brings over 30 years of global agricultural and technology experience. He is currently the COO of ag technology startup, Bonsai Robotics. He previously served as an executive at equipment OEMs including over 23 years at John Deere, COO at Sukup Manufacturing, and Global Director at Vermeer Corporation. At Deere, John served in senior roles including Manager New Tractor Programs, Factory Manager at the John Deere Des Moines Works, Director of Corporate Strategy, Director of Technology, and President of Navcom Technology. John also served as the Global Lead for the Agriculture Industry at Amazon Web Services and as Senior Vice President of Agriculture at DTN. John serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Agrivision-PrairieLand Partners John Deere dealer group and Precision AI. He previously served on non-profit boards including over 9 years as a board member at the Science Center of Iowa with tenure as both secretary & treasurer and committee chair and for two years on the board of the Ankeny Economic Development Corporation. A lifelong advocate for the future of farming, John has deep roots in production agriculture. John grew up in Greene, Iowa where he and his wife Amy continue to own land and are partners in a family farming operation. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Iowa State University, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and an executive certificate in Global Leadership from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
