Dominic BlackMortgage Lender
NMLS# 1589513
Location:  Clive, IA

I began my career in the financial world in 2013.  I worked my way up the ladder from a teller to a mortgage lender through hard work and discipline.  You can count on knowledgeable guidance throughout your financing experience. I grew up in New Hampton and attended the University of Northern Iowa. Later, I moved to Des Moines to marry my husband, Fernando. We currently reside in Des Moines’ East Side.  In my free time, I enjoy volunteering for numerous community organizations, participating in community events, supporting marginalized communities, and spending time with friends, and family. Dancing is a passion that comes from my family. I am fluent in Spanish and English and I love to volunteer to teach financial literacy in the community.

I received the Latino Leadership Award from LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) in 2015 for advocacy in support of immigrant Iowans.  I also graduated from LLI (Latina Leadership Initiative) in 2017 and completed my service project with the Latino Political Network. I am currently serving as the board president for DREAM Iowa, an immigrant rights organization that I co-founded.

I am very passionate about helping others achieve the American Dream of homeownership. I strive to create a life-long relationship with everyone that I serve.  I am here to offer integral real estate investment services. I’m also here to help make the process of becoming a homeowner or purchasing additional properties as stress-free and easy as possible.  You can count on me to respond to any of your concerns throughout the process and beyond. I look forward to working with you.
