LSB Welcomes Four New Board Members

Lincoln Savings Bank Welcomes Denny Presnall, Dr. Linda Allen, Scott Bush & Sally Hollis to the Board of Directors

Since Lincoln Savings Bank joined the Des Moines market in 2011, we have been growing in geographical footprint, community involvement and employee numbers. The last four months, especially, have revealed notable growth with an expanded new branch location, the hiring and promoting of over 12 employees as well as the addition of four new board members.

The new members to the Des Moines region, Scott Bush and Denny Presnall, bring strong experience and perspective to the team. Bush, the founder of Templeton Rye, is bringing the experience of leading a rapidly growing company alongside his strong rural Iowa roots. He has directed Templeton Rye from a concept to what the company has become today and brings an entrepreneurial spirit, strong connections, as well as a great vision.

Denny Presnall, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer of Iowa Farm Bureau Federation and Senior VP-Secretary of FBL Financial Group, Inc. Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company and Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company, brings amazing experience alongside strong statewide connections, legislative connections, as well as a high level of respect in the Ankeny market. He is also a member of the Coaches vs. Cancer Board of Ambassadors, the Des Moines Area Community College Board of Trustees and the University of Northern Iowa College of Education Advisory Council.

Our new member in the Cedar Valley, Dr. Linda Allen & Sally Hollis, join the board with a strong history of leadership and innovation. Dr. Allen has served as the President of Hawkeye Community College since 2011 and holds a Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from the University of Iowa. She is a leader and mentor with proven success advocating for community colleges while serving the needs of students, businesses and communities. Dr. Allen brings experience in leading a dynamic & growing organization with a passion for growing a diverse workforce and providing educational and economic opportunities to rural markets.

Sally Hollis has also joined our team this year to provide an incredible background in agriculture and operational management. She is the owner of Lanehaven Farms, Inc. based in Northeast Iowa, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. She not only develops business plans & strategies for her business, but also oversees the Accounting and Human Resources and is a member of the marketing management team. She also is actively involved in her community as the Chair of the McElroy Trust Board, board member of the Waterloo School Foundation, the Top Producer Executive Network, Society of Women Engineers and is a founding member of the United Way Women’s Philanthropy Connection.

We look forward to working alongside such incredible leaders and are excited for what Lincoln Savings Bank can accomplish with their involvement. Please join us in welcoming them!
