Growing up in Aplington, Andy graduated from Aplington-Parkersburg High School. He went on to Wartburg College in Waverly where he played football and toured the world while singing in the Wartburg Choir. He graduated in 2003 with a Communication Arts degree and History minor.
Andy has over 12 years experience advising clients on investments and insurance. He works closely with his clients, building relationships and understanding their lives so that together, they can come up with strategies to balance their insurance and financial goals. His passion comes from helping his client strive towards attaining confidence knowing their financial world is on the right track.

Andy and his wife Jessica have lived in Ankeny since 2003 and enjoy chasing their 4 young daughters to various events around Central Iowa. He is a high school football coach and spends many weekends on the sidelines coaching youth sports in Ankeny and singing in the church choir. Andy also emcees several events around Polk county and can be heard providing play-by-play and color commentary for various games on the Central Iowa Sports Network. In 2012, he co-founded the Central Iowa Networkers, an organization devoted to helping many Central Iowa businesses connect with one another.
