Non-profit organizations help our communities thrive, and Lincoln Savings Bank takes part in charitable giving to 501c(3) organizations through the LSB Foundation.
The LSB Foundation was established in 2005 for the purpose of supporting LSB’s charitable giving tradition in the communities we serve. LSB’s philanthropic philosophy has been an integral part of the company culture since our founding more than 100 years ago. The LSB Foundation demonstrates LSB’s commitment to our core value of Building Strong Communities.
In 2008, the LSB Foundation established disaster funds for victims of the May 25th tornado and spring floods that affected thousands of Iowans. Funds were collected and distributed to the communities and individuals affected. All administrative fees associated with the management and distribution of the collected funds were waived by the LSB Foundation. The Foundation was grateful to have been a part of this effort and was moved by the generosity of the individuals and businesses that made contributions.

How to Benefit From LSB Foundation Grants
Are you a 501(c)(3) operating in one of the communities served by Lincoln Savings Bank or LSB Financial interested in applying for a Grant from the LSB Foundation? We are happy to consider any Grant Application Proposals that include the following (all are required for consideration):
- Grant Application Form (include this form on the top of each proposal copy)
- Cover Letter
- Grant Proposal (amount requested, background and mission of the organization, purpose of funding, desired outcomes and how measured)
- Budget(s) (for project or program for which you are seeking funds)
- Board List
