Randy Frescoln new USDA Commercial Lender at Lincoln Savings Bank
Des Moines, Iowa – Randy Frescoln has been hired as a USDA Commercial Lender at the Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) Des Moines-Ingersoll branch. Frescoln was drawn to LSB because of their commitment to develop an ongoing, statewide effort to use USDA Loan Guarantee Programs to assist rural residents, businesses and rural communities with essential services and infrastructure in any USDA eligible area.
Frescoln retired from USDA Rural Development after a 30-year career. Frescoln served as the Business - Cooperative Program Director in Iowa during the last 20 years of his career. During his career with Rural Development in Iowa, Frescoln handled farm, rural housing and rural business credit programs. Internationally, during his time with USDA, Frescoln performed development projects in Ethiopia, Honduras, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine in addition to serving as a USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Officer assisting US and NATO member civilian and military reconstruction teams in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Frescoln grew up on the family farm in southeast Iowa and attended Iowa State University where he received undergraduate and graduate degrees in agriculture.
He resides in the Des Moines area with his wife, Carolyn, and has three grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys family and scouting critters using night vision and thermal technology.
